Husband of Mrs. Welsh, of 5, Moss Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Went to France in January 1915, wounded in August 1915, and again on 11/04/1917 at Arras. Whilst en-route to England wounded, his ship was sunk on 17/04/1917 and swam for an hour before being picked up by a destroyer.
