Son of William and Alice Ann Wolstencroft, of 21, Rake Lane, Clifton, Lancashire. Formerly employed on the clerical staff of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Oldham Road, Manchester. Enlisted October 1916. Formerly 2nd/6th Bn., King’s Liverpool Regiment. Reported missing from 30/11/1917 and subsequently reported as having died of wounds on 19/12/1917 aged 19 years whilst prisoner of war in Germany.
