Son of William John and Minnie Palmer; husband of Violet Elsie Palmer, of Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Royal Horse Guards (Blues).

Partington, H –

Of 21, Folds, Blackrod, Lancashire. Severely wounded 18/08/1916, losing his right hand.

Perkin, Sydney –

Son of Frederick and Elizabeth Perkin; husband of Annie Perkin, of Higher Broughton, Salford, Lancashire.

Reddington, Edward (Ted) –

Son of John and Margaret Reddington (nee Brandwood), of 19, John Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly served in the Royal Navy (enlisted 17/05/1911) as SS110922 (Dev) Stoker 1st Class. Caught aged 21 as an absentee from HMS Falmouth at Newcastle since 06/04/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 09/04/1915 to be sent back to his ship under escort. Discharged from Naval service 06/12/1915. Later joined the Highland Light Infantry as Private 4272. Caught as an absentee fron Danbury, Essex since 09/07/1916, and from France since 22/01/1918. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates 24/07/1916 and 11/02/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26 & JBO/1/27 & JBO/1/29).

Rodmell, Thomas –

Of 25, Isabel Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 23 as an absentee from Haddington since 10/10/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 31/10/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).

Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rolland, of Rhu-na-Craig, Paisley; Brother of Dr. William Rolland, of 365, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing since 01/07/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Tonge, of 30, Latham Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1916. Reported missing since 31/07/1917 and subsequently confirmed wounded and prisoner of war at Limburg.
