Hulley, Charles Edward –

Son of Silvester Hilley, of 1, Wright Street, Bolton Road, Radcliffe, Lancashire; husband of Minnie Hulley, of 14, White Hill Cottages, Belmont Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Hulme, Thomas –

Son of the late Edward Hulme and of Mary Ellen Williams (formerly Hulme), of 20, Green Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Of 31, Green Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. Caught aged 22 as an absentee from 1st Bn., King’s Royal Rifle Corps at Winchester since 21/06/1915 and again since 22/07/1915. Appeared before Bolton Magistrates Court 15/07/1915 and 10/08/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).

Hurst, Harry –

Son of Mrs. Hurst, of 14, St. Stephen Street, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1916. Reported missing from 23/04/1917 and confirmed prisoner of war.

Illidge (Hillidge), James Roger –

NOTE:- Served as James Roger HILLIDGE. Son of Mrs. Ann Sugden (formerly Illidge), of 214, Lorne Street, Farnworth, Lancashire, and the late Edwin Illidge; husband of Jane Illidge, of 18, Lower Street, New Bury, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Lord Ellesmere’s Brackley Colliery. Enlisted December 1914. Died aged 41 years on 10/03/1921.

Jackson, Joseph Henry –

Son of James and Eliza Jackson, of 51, Todd Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 8, Beta Street, Bolton, Lancashire.
