Kennedy, John –

Husband of Ann Kennedy, of 4, Nelson Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Discharged October 1917.

Knowles, William –

Son of William and Elizabeth Knowles; husband of Louie Knowles (nee Howard), of 5, Rhyl Street, Waterloo Street, Bolton, Lancashire, later of 23, Palmerston Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A brother, Alexander, served in Mesopotamia.

Langabeer, James –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Langabeer, of Round Barn Quarries, Entwistle, Turton, Lancashire. Had served eight years in the Army, six of which spent in India.

Laughna, James –

Son of Thomas and Rebecca Laughna, of 421, Wigan Road, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded in the back in an accident on 16/06/1916.

Lauria, William Denis –

Second son of the Rev. J. A. Lauria, M.A., Vicar of Emmanuel Church, of Emmanuel Vicarage, Bolton, Lancashire. He and his brother declined commissions, preferring to serve in the ranks.

Law, Harry –

Son of Benjamin and Betsy Law, of 484, Bolton Road, Pendlebury, Lancashire.

Leach, Thomas –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Leach, of 58, Kestor Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A staff-sergeant in the Parish Church Lads’ Brigade. Enlisted September 1914. Wounded February 1916. Taken prisoner of war 13/04/1918.
