Swarbrick, Alexander (Alec) –

Son of John and Sarah Swarbrick; husband of Lena Swarbrick (nee O’Keefe), of 79, Oak Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 22658, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Reported missing since 13/04/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war at Limburg, Germany.

Only son of Mr. Thomas Taylor, M.P. and Mary Ellen Taylor, of Tudor House, Chorley New Road, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Edith Helen Taylor, of Tivoli House, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Formerly of 5, Greenmount Lane, Heaton, Bolton, Lancashire. An Old Boy of Bolton Grammar School (1886-1891). Enlisted / Commissioned September 1914. Interred 15/10/1915.

Son of James and Mary Taylor, of 1, Somerville Cottages, Lower Heys, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly of 35, Arden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Died from wounds in a base hospital.

Taylor, Thomas –

Husband of Mrs. Taylor, of 70, Markland Hill Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. A member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Stretcher Bearer. Wounded by shrapnel in the knee 16/06/1915.

Taylor, David –

Son of Thomas and Ann Taylor (nee Thompson), of 127, Halliwell Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Wounded and gassed in January 1916. Five brothers also served.

Thornton, William –

Son of Mrs. Thornton, of 22, Dougill Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Wounded in both legs and left arm 02/07/1916.
