McKeown, John –

Son of Hugh and Catherine McKeown, of 39, Edge Street, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire. Formerly 10402, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

McManus, Nicholas –

Son of Nicholas and Eliza Ann McManus (nee Hyde), of Salford, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth McManus (nee Donley). Formerly 9304, King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment.

Melia, John –

Son of John and Mary Melia, of 118, Mount Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915 as Private 7475, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Mistakenly reported killed in action as Private 4192 with the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment on 14/08/1916, but subsequently confirmed wounded in the leg and at No.26 General Hospital.
