Son of George and Jane Ann Ball, of 14, Tunnicliffe’s New Row, Leigh, Lancashire. Formerly Private 28310, 10th Hussars. Reported wounded and missing since 12/07/1916, but subsequently presumed killed 01/07/1916.

Balshaw, Walter –

Eldest son of Florence Elizabeth Amelia Balshaw (nee Shelleross), of Ivy Dene, 571, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Walter Balshaw (Solicitor). An old boy of the Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly a Second Lieutenant in the Officer Training Corps. Reported missing since 20/10/1914 at La Bassee and believed prisoner of war in Germany, later reported killed.
