Son of Jacob and Harriette Agnes Smith, of 43, Seedley Park Road, Seedley, Salford, Lancashire. Formerly 4/25397, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.

Whittle, Hugh –

Son of the late James and Sarah Ann Whittle (nee Macklin). Of 56, Ambush Street, Higher Openshaw, Lancashire. Previously enlisted at Manchester14/11/1914 as Private 13859, Manchester Regiment., discharged 16/11/1914 as not likely to become an efficient soldier. Re-enlisted as Private 7264, Machine Gun Corps. Posted missing since 21/03/1918.

Woodland, Clement Arthur –

Lieutenant Woodland was a nephew of Captain Herbert Lund, F.R.C.S., and frequently worshipped in Christ Church when staying with his uncle at Fern Bank, Eccles Old Road, Salford, Lancashire. Son of the late Reverend C. C. Woodland and Frances Woodland, of Hammerwood, East Grinstead, Sussex. Attached 6th Bn., King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
