Hornby, Wilson –

Son of John and Margery Hornby, of 326, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Great Central Railway Company’s Loco Works in Gorton, having served his apprenticeship at Horwich Loco Works. His brother Gordon also fell.

Eldest son of Mrs. Howarth, of 54, Venice Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Father, a Corporation workman serving in the East Lancashire Regiment. Incorrectly reported as King’s Royal Rifle Corps in F&WJ.
