Husband of Annie Downing (nee Shawcross), of 207, Bury Old Road, Heaton Park, Manchester, Lancashire. Died aged 42 years on 30/03/1918 at the Manchester Infirmary as a result of gas poisoning and shellshock. Interred in Farnworth Cemetery.
