Son of Mr. and Mrs. Hodgkinson, of Wharnecliffe, St. James’s Avenue, Breightmet, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly an employee of the Bolton Waterworks Department. Formerly in the signals section of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Hodgkiss, Ernest –

Son of Annie Hodgkiss, of 33, Walkden Road, Walkden, Lancashire, and the late Adam Hodgkiss. An old boy of Farnworth Grammar School. Enlisted November 1915. Died of pneumonia at the 1st Southern General Hospital, Birmingham.

Son of the Reverend F. Hodgson-Jones, formerly Rector of St. Matthias Church, Salford, Lancashire. Enlisted in the Public School’s Bn., Royal Fusiliers. Horwich Loco Works.

Hodkinson, James –

Son of John and Annie Hodkinson, of 47, Church Street, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. Formerly 2386, Royal Scots. Died of bronchial pneumonia in a base hospital. Recorded as HODGKINSON on CWGC.
