Of 8, Back Bow Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1915.

Oxley, Clifford –

Son of Frederick William Oxley, of 116, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Lancashire, and the late Frances Oxley. Formerly employed at the Horwich Loco Works and latterly as a marine engineer on their Goole to Dunkirk and Zeebrugge services. Previously served four years as a signaller with the Horwich Territorials (4th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire REgiment). Killed by a shell while fixing barbed wire defences.

Son of James and Elizabeth Palin; husband of Lena May Palin, of Cadishead, Lancashire.

Parker, Frederick –

Son of John and Isabella Parker; husband of Ellen Parker (nee McKenna), of 25, Rylett Street, Broughton, Salford, Lancashire. A Sorting Clerk and Telegraphist at G.P.O. Manchester.

Parker, John Norris –

Only son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Parker, of Ivy Dene, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Nora Adelaide Parker (nee Allen), of Church Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Originally joined the Royal Navy in the wireless telegraphy department, but transferred to the Royal Engineers.

Parkinson, George –

Son of John and Maria Parkinson, of ‘Ingledene’, 17, Bennett’s Lane, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914.

Parr, Charles –

Son of Mary Parr, of 39, Gilnow Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Mobilised 20/04/1918. Died of sarcoma and pulmonary embolism in at 11th Casualty Clearing Station, France.

Partington, John –

Husband of Mrs. Partington, of 13, Chaucer Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Served in the South African Campaign. Formerly employed at the Corporation Electricity Works, Spa Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914.

Partington, William –

Husband of Fanny Gibson (formerly Partington), of 142, Manchester Road, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Died at hospital in Marseilles from influenza and pneumonia.

Partington, William –

Of 23, Mather Street, Kearsley, Lancashire. Suffered from rheumatism and complications following service in the Royal Engineers. Died aged 43 years 01/02/1921.
