Andrews, Edward –

Of 33, Eagley Bank, Turton, Lancashire. Suffered a fractured thigh when his horse shied at a camel, reared up, and fell backwards on him, pinning his right leg to the ground in egypt.

Husband of Mrs. Anstead, of 43, Tyndall Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly a painter with the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Died from a severe gunshot wound.

Appleyard, Arnold –

Of 35, Lyndhurst Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 44, Howarth Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.

Archer, Frank –

Son of Thomas the Hannah Jane Archer, of 8, Mill Lane, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a moulder at the Horwich Loco Works. Enlisted May 1915. Died of pneumonia in France.
