Son of Henry and Ellen Grindrod, of 339, Hulton Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Reported missing at High Wood 20/07/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Grundy, Walter –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Grundy, of 578, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted June 1915. Captured prisoner of war held at Dulmen, Westphalia.

Harrison, James Thomas –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison, of 52, Derby Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 1227, Royal Fusiliers. Serving in British East Africa in June 1915. Later of Springfield Cottages, Barwick in Elms, Leeds, Yorkshire.

Hartley, William Peter –

Son of Robert and Sarah Ellen Hartley, of 321, Chuch Street, Westhoughton, Lancashire, and formerly of Peel Street, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Before enlisting in November 1915 worked as an assistant clerk to Westhoughton District Council. Formerly PS/8975, Royal Fusiliers. Wounded 01/08/1916. Reported missing 03/05/1917, and later presumed killed.

Haslam, Clifford –

Son of Ada A. Mills (formerly Haslam), of 76, Park Road, Lytham, Lancashire, and the late Harrison Mellor Haslam. Resided at “The Limes”, Manchester Road, Chequerbent, Westhoughton, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Grammar School. Enlisted June 1915. Formerly Public Schools’ Bn.

Haslam, Frank –

Son of James William and Phoebe Haslam, of 47, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Accidentally killed in France. Service number wrongly recorded as PS/10540 on SDGW.
