Wilcock, James –

Son of Richard and Ellen Wilcock, of 37, Argyle Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously enlisted at Bolton on 31/03/1915 as Private 4151, 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, and discharged 13/08/1915. Re-enlisted 20/09/1915 at Bolton as Driver 2336, 3rd East Lancashire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Both times discharged for having made a mis-statement as to age on enlistment. He had claimed to be 19 years old.

Wilson, William –

Nephew of Mrs. Mayoh, of 11, Minerva Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Sister resided at 70, Horsa Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Native of Preston, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Died of wounds at “Y” Beach, Gallipoli. Buried at Sea from the hospital ship Guildford Castle.

Woodley, Alan –

Son of George Thomas Burr Woodley and Emma Woodley (nee Williamson), of 41, Sutherland Road, Newhall Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1914. Died aboard the hospital ship Rewa from wounds received in action at Gallipoli on 16/07/1915 and was buried at sea.

Worsley, Edgar Oswald –

Son of James and the late Sarah A. Worsley (nee Leyland), of 45, Mornington Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Son of William Thomas and the late Martha Wylde, and stepson of Sarah Alice Wylde (nee Gradwell), of 16, Everitt Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Of 70, Halliwell Road, Bolton, Lancashire on discharge.
