Long, William –

Husband of Annie Long, of 44, Milton Street, Wombwell, Yorkshire.

Longworth, Thomas –

Son of William and Margaret Longworth, of 65, Albert Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Of 105, Darley Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Died when his ship sank in the River Clyde after collision with HMS Corrib. Body not recovered for burial.

Longworth, William –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Longworth, of 4, Trentham Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Survived the sinking of the HMS Majestic.

Lord, David –

Son of David and Lavinia Lord, of 146, St. Helens Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Brother of Mrs. Beesley, of 91, Holden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. 21 years’ service in the Royal Navy. Body not recovered for burial.

Son of George and Minnie Lord, of 34, Parrin Lane, Monton, Eccles, Lancashire.

Lund, John Henry –

Son of Henry and Esther Lund, of 35, Kendal Street, Wigan, Lancashire, and formerly of 71, Dolph Street, Park Road, Wigan, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Lund, John Herbert –

Husband of Alice Mary Lund (nee Brooks). Nephew and adopted son of Mr. John Lund, of Fleetwood, Lancashire. 15 years service in the Navy. Lost in the sinking of the HMS Natal (internal explosion of vessel). Qualified as a gunner.
