Barlow, Timothy –

Son of Sarah Barlow, of Horrobin Fold, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 1139, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire. 15 years service in the Navy. Body not recovered for burial.

Beales, George Frederick –

Son of George Henry and Florrie Beales (nee Hartley), of 229, St. Helens Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Previously enlisted at Farnworth 17/05/1915 as Rifleman S/10711, 6th Bn., Rifle Brigade, and discharged for having made a mis-statement as to age on enlistment 18/06/1915.

Beech, William James –

Son of Richard and Mary Beech, of 13, Harriet Street, Higher Broughton, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Bennett, John –

Son of Henry and Betsy Bennett, of 21, Fairfield Street, Bolton, Lancashire.

Birch, Peter –

Son of John and Martha Jane Birch (nee Nuttall), of 37, Windley Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Sarah Ellen Birch, of 14, Ann Street, Folds Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Lost with his ship at the Battle of Jutland. His brother John also fell. Body not recovered for burial.

Birchall, Theodore Proctor –

Son of James and Ellen Birchall, of 21, Higher Barn, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a stoker by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Newton Heath. Buried at sea. Served as Theodore Procter.

Blackledge, Daniel –

Son of Miles William and Maria Blackledge (nee Townsend), of 8, Benson Street, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire.
