Harwood, Percy –

Son of Robert and Mrs. Harwood, of 68, Market Street, Little Lever, Lancashire. Formerly of Grove Cottage, 37 Rose Hill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Trooper 4549, Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry. Saw service in the Dublin Riots, before proceeding to France with the South Lancashires on 26/12/1916. Taken prisoner of war at Cambrai on 30/11/1917 and released 11/01/1919.

Of 153, Morris Green Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915, 17th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Enlisted April 1915, South Lancashire Regiment.

Heap, Abraham Hart –

Heap, James Grimshaw –

Of 22, Union Street, Wigan, Lancashire. Caught as an absentee from Moor Lane Camp, Crosby since 19/05/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 02/06/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).

Hodkinson, Albert William –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Hodkinson, of Darcy Lever, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Hodkinson, of 39, Lupton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January or May 1915. Formerly Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded whilst fighting in the East and spent seven months in hospital in 1916.
