Berry, Frederick –

Son of Mr. R. H. Berry, of Bramhall Lodge, Bramhall Park, Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire. Formerly employed as a Surveyor in the the Borough Engineers’ Department of Bolton County Borough. Originally reported as missing after the battle of Mons, later unofficially as killed, and finally reported confirmed prisoner of war. Subsequently released by the Germans for internment in Holland. A territorial, he was activated at the start of the war and commissioned.

Blackledge, Robert –

Son of Miles William and Maria Blackledge (nee Townsend), of 8, Benson Street, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire.

Bolton, Jack –

Of 48, Hennon Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915.

Bond, James –

Of 4, Field Street, Lower Ince, Wigan, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915.

Bowen, Reginald –

Of 18, Caroline Street, Irlam, Lancashire at enlistment. Husband of Mary Bowen, of 24, Ashfield Grove, Irlam, Lancashire, in December 1914.

Bradburn, Samuel –

Son of Alice Bradburn, of 40, Parrot Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Samuel Bradburn. Wounded 24/07/1916 and died of these wounds in hospital.

Bradley, Fred –

Son of Joseph and Betsy Bradley, of 1, Church Road, Prestolee, Stoneclough, Lancashire. Formerly of 6, Fletcher Street, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915.
