Of 36, Victor Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Surrendered aged 20 as an absentee from Prescot since 04/02/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 08/02/1916 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).
