Youngest of six soldier sons of Mr. and Mrs. Harris, of 16, Radcliffe Road, Haulgh, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Wounded at Monchy in 1917. Taken prisoner of war in March 1918 and interned in Freidrichsfeld Camp.

Enlisted December 1915. Died of wounds received at Beaumont Hamel at the 3rd Canadian General Hospital, Boulogne.
