Warburton, Robert –

Of 18, Battenberg Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. Reported missing since 09/05/1915 and subsequently presumed killed. A brother served in the 6th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.

Whiston, Thomas –

Son of Joseph Whiston, of 9, Waldeck Street, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire.

Whitworth, James –

Son of Alfred and Emma Whitworth (nee Houlder), of 3, Osborne Grove, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 89, Elgin Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Killed by a sniper. His brother Alfred also served in the Border Regiment.

Wilkinson, John (Jack) –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson, of 37, Third Avenue, Ferns Park, Bolton, Lancashire. Had his left leg shattered and subsequently amputated at No.2. Clearing Station. His brother George also served.
