Caught aged 48 as an absentee from Liverpool since 05/07/1915 and appeared before Bolton Magistrates 12/07/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26). Died from pneumonia at Knockaloe Camp, Isle of Man. Home service only.

Son of Charles Sheridan. Resided with a brother at 52, Venture Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed as a carter for the Bolton Corporation. Enlisted September 1914. Wounded in Salonika in December 1916. Died at Townleys Hospital after a short leave.

Sheridan, Michael –
