Stockham, George Edward –

Son of William Henry and Alice Matilda Stockham (nee Sainsbury); husband of Mary Stockham (nee Kitt), of 31, Mercia Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Trinity Street Station as foreman cleaner in the carriage and wagon department. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Seriously wounded 17/05/1915 resulting in both feet being amputated. Died at the military hospital in Alexandria, Egypt.

Son of John and Lavinia V. Taylor, of 393, Derby Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Blodwen Taylor (nee Parry), of 72, Pennington Road, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Died of heatstroke.

Taylor, Frank –

Youngest son of Walter and Martha Ann Taylor, of Hazlemere, Junction Road, Deane, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of Red Lion Hotel, Middle Hulton, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. served in the liberation of Serbia. Died from influenza in Salonika.

Son of Harry and Elizabeth Ann Unsworth, of 22, Whittle Grove, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. His brother Ralph was posted as missing and subsequently presumed killed on the same day.

Younger son of William and Alice Wallwork, of 33, Hawthorne Road, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly employed by the Bolton Post Office. Enlisted October 1914. Attached to the Brigade. Headquarters he was instantly killed by a shell.
