Re-enlisted March 1915, again in the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Re-enlisted 25/03/1915 as Gunner 11069 in the “Comrades” Royal Field Artillery, and discharged as not likely to become an efficient soldier 17/05/1915. Enlisted May 1915, Royal Engineers.
