Roberts, George A –

One of four sons of Mr. A. Roberts, of Newport Street, Bolton, Lancashire on active service. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute. Formerly Capetown Garrison Artillery. Attached British South Africa Company’s forces. Died 1916 after suffering severe internal injuries when thrown from his horse and interred with full military honours in the Salisbury (South Rhodesia) Cemetery.
