Son of James and Caroline R. A. Barley, of 26, Halstead Street, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Enlisted August 1914. Formerly SS/341, Royal Army Service Corps. Attached to the 18th Bn., London Regiment at time of death. Duplicated entry on Bolton County Borough Roll of Honour as also listed under Royal Army Service Corps.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Birmingham, of 85, Crompton Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly 10573, 7th Bn., York and Lancaster Regiment. Posted missing since 08/03/1917 and subsequently confirmed to be a prisoner of war in Germany.

Of Lostock Industrial School, Lostock, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915.

Davies, William –

Husband of Annie Davies, of 10, St. Thomas Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 10, Delamere Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. A reservist having completed three years’ regular army service. Missing since the battle of Neuve Chapelle, and subsequently declared killed. Brother of Private Joseph Davies, Lancashire Fusiliers, Killed in Action 26/08/1914.
