Son of David and Sarah Clarke, of 9, Harrowby Street, Swinton, Lancashire and later of 4, Wellington Road, Swinton, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Clarkson, Ernest –

Son of Margaret Clarkson, of 15, Bulwer Avenue, Perth, Western Australia; nephew of Mr. H. Gregg, of 5, Langdale Avenue, Werneth, Oldham, Lancashire. Body not recovered for burial.

Clemmet, William Casstles –

Son of John Thomas and the late Hannah Jane Clemmet (nee Casstles), of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Amy Clemmet, of 48, Shaftesbury Road, Gosport, Hampshire. Body not recovered for burial. Memorial on family grave on Astley Bridge (St. Paul) Churchyard.

Husband of May Coleman (nee Whittle). Served on HMS Repulse as a Stoker First Class at time of Marriage at Emmanuel Church, Bolton, December 1930.

Cooper, Victor Ceph –

Son of Robert and Sarah Ann Cooper, of 65, Carlton Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Able Seaman, Nelson Bn. Hospitalised at 6th General Hospital, Rouen, for the effects of gas.
