Chadwick, Harold –

Son of Gunner John and Lilian Chadwick, of 22, Victoria Park, Colwyn Bay, Denbighshire. Grandson of Mrs. Chadwick, of 166, Manchester Road, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1915 aged only 16.

Clarke, James –

Son of John and Sarah Jane Clarke, of 26, Jauncey Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Eldest of four soldier brothers. Wounded third time in the wrist 03/08/1917 and in a Canadian Hospital, and subsequently removed to hospital at Newport, Monmouthshire.

Cooke, Percy –

Son of William and Esther Cooke, of 146, Worsley Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1917. Formerly 31984, Welsh Regiment. Killed instantly by a shell whilst on sentry duty. Memorial in Walkden (St. Paul) Churchyard.

Coope, Arthur Reginald –

Second son of the late John Tonge Coope and Ellen Coope, of 28, Balmoral Road, South Shore, Blackpool, Lancashire, and formerly of 412, Bolton Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted March 1917. Wounded and taken prisoner 24/03/1918, and died whilst prisoner of war in Germany. Memorial in Kearsley (St. Stephen) Churchyard. Reported as Corporal in F&WJ.
